Jeremy Lavigne, MA, CIP serves as Senior Officer for the US-based SMART IRB national initiative at Harvard Catalyst (Harvard Medical School). In his role, Jeremy oversees SMART IRB operations, educational initiatives, and strategic initiatives aimed at reducing burdens associated with multi-site research under the purview of a single IRB. Prior to joining Harvard, he spent a decade working at the University of Chicago, most recently serving as IRB Reliance Manager. He earned his Master of Arts from the University of Chicago and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
