Tara Cowling is the Founder and President of Medlior Health Outcomes Research Ltd., established in 2008 to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights for health outcomes research. With over 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors, she has held roles at Alberta Health Services, AstraZeneca UK, Wyeth UK, and IQVIA UK, and began her career as a Research Fellow at NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) in London.

Tara holds an MSc from McMaster University and a BA/MA in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford. She is a board member of BioAlberta and co-founder of the EvidaHealth Foundation, a nonprofit advancing real-world evidence (RWE) through a next-generation registry platform.

A champion for women in STEM and business leadership, Tara is an active member of the Women’s Presidents’ Organization (WPO), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), and ISPOR.
