Daniel McKenna is the Director of Information Management at McDougall Scientific, a division of Alimentiv Inc. He works with clients to diagnose their information challenges, risks, & opportunities, develop a coherent strategy to address them, then deploy innovative process improvements in harmony with fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
Daniel manages McDougall’s TMF professional services and eTMF solution ComplyDocs, which is deployed across multiple regulatory areas. He has also contributed to the development of the CDISC TMF Reference Model, and the DirectTrust Qualified Products List (QPL) of digital identity applications.
Daniel holds a Master of Information (MI) degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in information systems design and digital preservation. He has also received accreditation from the IAOCR as an Internationally Qualified TMF Manager, and certification from AIIM as an Enterprise Content Management Master.
Prior to working in clinical research, Daniel was a film student and guitar teacher, and uses these past experiences to see new perspectives on the clinical information landscape and guide teams through it to achieve their IM goals.
