Richard Cheung, General Counsel, Neotic/Grey House Partners

Richard is General Counsel in the “Noetic / Grey House Partners” ecosystem of companies. Prior to Noetic, Richard was a partner in the Intellectual Property (IP) and Life Sciences Industry practice groups at Fasken, a Canadian-based international full-service law firm. As a registered Patent Agent and Trade-mark Agent in Canada, Richard developed customized strategies for his clients (ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations) for the creation, protection, commercialization, management, licensing and enforcement of IP assets. Richard also routinely advised clients on matters relevant to the pharmacy industry as well as regulated health products in Canada, including compliance and enforcement issues, pricing and reimbursement, data protection, licensing, and advertising and promotion, among others. Richard is a licensed pharmacist in the Province of Ontario and has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto.

Mia Getlin, Oregon Cannabis Lawyer, Gleam Law
- Mia Getlin, a member of the Oregon and Washington state bars, practices general business law, specializing in state-legal marijuana, hemp, and psychedelics out of Gleam Law’s Portland, Oregon office. Mia has served on the executive committee of the Oregon State Bar Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Section for several years. She is also VP and Secretary of the Oregon Industry Progress Association, a political action group advocating for business friendly-change to Oregon’s recreational cannabis policy. An honors graduate of UCLA and Pepperdine Law, Mia previously worked in public accounting at KPMG, providing internal control audit and advisory services to large companies with a focus on the retail, banking, and automotive industries and earning CPA licenses (now inactive) in two states. After moving to Oregon in 2014, she began to focus on business law and specifically serving the growing cannabis industry as an Oregon cannabis attorney.

- Jaspreet Grewal is an accomplished clinician, researcher and venture partner bringing over 15 years of experience to companies focused on the Life Sciences. Throughout her career, she has held several positions with increasing responsibilities in various healthcare roles. Jaspreet holds a Master’s in Clinical Vision Sciences from Georgetown University, an Executive Certificate in Public Health from Harvard University and an Executive MBA from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has successfully merged her expertise and passion for innovation, research and finance to become a dynamic leader not only nationally but internationally. She is a published researcher with a therapeutic interest in ophthalmology, gastroenterology, dermatology, neurology, pain and rehabilitation, and a particular interest in knowledge translational. She has conducted numerous Phase I to IV clinical trials in both academic and industry settings. Jaspreet is the CEO and Co-Founder of Knowde Group, Board Director at BioAlberta, Entrepreneur in Residence at Innovate Calgary (Medical Cannabis) and the Global Lifesciences Consultant for Calgary Economic Development.
